FactorXBag: A Bulletproof Backpack You Need To Own

July 8, 2017 / no comments, on Full Gear Reviews, SURVIVAL FEED

FactorXBag: Just The Facts
If you only read this section of the review, you should leave here as a huge fan of the new FactorXBag. This bag is labeled as an “everyday backpack”, but it is so much more than that. I am always on the search for a bag that can blend in with my daily activities, yet come through in a SHFT or emergency situation.

If an EMP or natural disaster where to occur right now, would you be prepared? Would you have the basic supplies to keep you safe while you worked your way to your home or bug-out location? The FactorXBag can play an instrumental role in your ability to thrive and survive during any emergency.

One of my favorite aspects of the FactorXBag is that it can be personalized in so many ways to fit your exact needs. This bag can be your 72-hour car kit, your quick-action trauma kit, or your key to surviving an active shooter scenario. In this day and age, everyone has their different reasons for wanting to be prepared. No matter your reason for purchasing..

My Survival Gear Prep List: Top 100

April 16, 2017 / no comments, on SURVIVAL FEED

My Survival Gear Prep List
Gear, gear, and more gear! We all know that there is no substitute for experience and well practiced skills. However, new gear is always welcomed to my collection of preps. As I have admitted numerous times I am a gear head for sure. Due to budgets and the reality of there’s only so much space in one’s house to store all these great survival preps, we need to focus our gear obsession to the most crucial survival gadgets and gizmos! That being said, here is my current list of the top 100 survival items I own and think that every prepper should own as well.

My Top 100 Survival Preps: The Basics
First things first, lets take care of your core needs to get you through a survival situation. If you can stay dry and hydrated you can last a longtime in the wild. So my first area of focus is on clean water, shelter and the ability to make a fire. Fire can keep you warm, make water safe to drink, cook your food, and it can give you a psychological boost in an otherwis..

Medical Prep List #1

March 6, 2017 / no comments, on SURVIVAL FEED

Medical Prep List
Our medical prep list was created to help you start your medical preps. In this list you will find recommended medical and first aid gear. This is a great place to start for those looking to become more prepared & self-reliant. These gear suggestions are from our series Prep In 26 Paychecks, which helps people prepare over the course of year.

Be sure to stock up on all personal medications first, then move on to building your medical preps. The great part of building your medical supplies is you will be able to use them for your family on a daily basis. It easier to justify your purchases when you know you can use them outside of a disaster situation. When purchasing your preps remember the old saying, two is one and one is none. Try and buy in pairs or bulk whenever possible.

Print out the list below and use it to start building your inventory or use the links provided to see sample products.

Prep and Save- Amazon The New Way To Get Your Preps

Prep and Save:

Once I decided to start prepping my inner gear head took over my planning. I found myself trolling gear sites looking for that perfect bag, knife, or new gun accessory. I was preparing as if I was going to become a Navy Seal overnight and not as a responsible father. Don’t get me wrong, I am and always will be a certified gear junkie, but I have found ways to ensure that I am also being a responsible father. All the gear in the world won’t do you any good if your basic needs are not met to keep you alive. Furthermore, if you do not train with your gear it will be next to useless when it counts, but more on this later.

I started to realize that I needed to stock up on every day preps that my family would need to use in the case of a grid down situation or a natural disaster. For this you can coupon clip, shop at wholesale stores, and spend hours looking for online deals. I still recommend doing this, but as a busy Dad I needed an easier way t..

The Ranger Bag By Echo-Sigma

February 19, 2017 / no comments, on SURVIVAL FEED

The Ranger Bag By Echo-Sigma
The Ranger Pack by Echo-Sigma is the perfect bag for a day at the gun range or a trip out into the woods. Even if you have been shooting your entire life accidents can happen and this bag will be there to help you in your time of need. This bag contains items for basic survival, cuts from the slide on your hand gun, and even the basics for a gun shot wound.

It is important to note, that the contents of this bag do not make you an EMT over night, this gear is meant to be used by people with training. I highly recommend that you purchase this gear and sign up for first aid training. There are a lot of places now offering up tactical first aid training in light of America’s trend towards mass shootings. Your gear is only as good as your training so don’t cut corners here! To drive this point home here’s the warning from the Echo-Sigma Site:

“Please note, some items in the Echo-Sigma Trauma Kit are designed for use by trained personnel only. Plea..
