EDC / 72 Hour Pack VIDEO

Found this video on Youtube, this guy spent a lot of time and money to put his bag together.  In the feed of his video he states he spent of $1,000 to build this bag.  Your bag doesn’t need to be this detailed nor does it need to cost this much, your bag needs to be personalized to fit your needs and your preparedness plans.  For example if you plan to travel by water, you may want to change a few things around.  However, this is a pretty extensive bag and comes with a gear list to help inspire you in how you build your bag.  My personal Get Home Bag has a ton of gear and I built it for $385!  When you build any of your bags remember a few things:

  1. You have to carry everything you pack, so make sure your fit enough to do so
  2.  You have to know how to use and access your gear in the less than ideal situations.  Don’t pack your bag and forget about it, get in there and repack it a few times.  Grab some gear and use it on weekend trips or practice in your backyard to gain experience.
